BETHLEHEM ENDS SCHOOL YEAR!  The 2009-’10 school year is coming quickly to a close.  Tomorrow’s dismissal at 11:30 A.M. marks the end of the school year.  By God’s grace, it has been another year in which quality education was offered with a distinct Christian foundation.  The 307 children of Bethlehem (PreK-8) have grown so much in this past year!  This year, we kept our focus on “Remember/Rejoice 50 years of Grace.”

The faculty certainly appreciates the privilege of educating your children. It is a joyful responsibility we do not take lightly.  As we close this school year, please accept our sincere thanks for productively working with the faculty and administration of Bethlehem Lutheran School.  We consider it a joy to work with the “family” of Bethlehem in pursuit of the worthwhile goal of quality, Christian education.  To God be the Glory!

THANK YOU!  What a privilege it is . . . to witness the love and generosity of our God as shown through you, the parents and members of Bethlehem.  There are so many who have volunteered and given time, talent, energy, and support to our school this past year.  Every year, I am amazed by the level of generosity demonstrated by parents and members in support of this school.  Please know that this year as always, the faculty and I are incredibly appreciative.  That support (Time, Talent, Treasure) is a special blessing to our school.

Certainly, without that support and involvement – our school would be much less.  Please accept the faculty’s and my sincere thanks.  We thank God for you!   Mr. Weber

Summer Math!  Parents, we need your help!  Next school year, our teachers are going to add some focus in the area of “math computational skills” for BLS students.  Tests show that this is an area we can target as a school, so let’s join in helping our students!  Depending on the grade, computational skills means working on basic math facts, fractions, percentages, etc.  Some excellent math websites for kids are: aplusmath.com mathplayground.com; funbrain.com/math/index.html. Thanks – let’s work together to help our students!

SAVE $25.00 OR MORE  How?  By paying your 2010-’11 registration fees early.  Last reminder – registration paid in full before July 15 for member rate and full tuition rate will yield the early payment savings.  Call the school office if more information is needed.
