Mission Statement for Bethlehem and all WELS churches...

As men, women and children united in faith and worship by the Word of God, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod exists to make disciples throughout the world for time and for etermity, using the Gospel to win the lost for Christ and to nurture believers for lives of Christian service, all to the glory of God.

Therefore, it is our intent, with the help of God, to reach out with the Gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ to the community, the country and the world. It is also our sincere intent to nurture the members of this congregation that all of us may be drawn closer to our Lord in this sin-filled world unto life everlasting. We encourage the members, then to:

• be faithful in worship attendance (Heb. 10:25),
• be diligent, lifelong students of the Word through personal and formal Bible study time (Acts 17:11),
• be willing to pray for one another often (1 Thess. 5:17), and
• be always aware of opportunities to share the Gospel (Mt. 28:18-20).

The Mission of Bethlehem Lutheran School is to assist Christian parents in the following:
To nurture and educate the children in God's Word so that they have a firm foundation as Christian citizens who trust in their Savior, Jesus Christ; To provide them with a solid educational base from which further academic success and productive employment may flow; To guide them in Christian living teaching them to make God-pleasing choices; and To prepare and encourage them to communicate this saving gospel to others.
