ACTS’ (Active Christian Teens)
With ten teens and four leaders, the ACTS’ group enjoyed a GREAT time rafting down the Wisconsin River last weekend! Special thanks to Trinity Lutheran Church in Minocqua for allowing the group to stay overnight at their church. Stay tuned for more fun ACTS events for summer! Did you miss Marching with us in the Memorial Day parade? Here's another chance! Bethlehem will have a float in the Germantown 4th of July parade. We will be playing contemporary music from Koine and handing out necklaces to the kids in the crowd. And we have ordered more t-shirts - free to the first 35 who sign up. And if you marched in the Memorial Day parade, feel free to join us again in the 4th of July parade. All LES children over the age of 9 and their parents are encouraged to join the Pioneers and ACTS (teen club) march in these parades. Events at KMLHS and in the SYNOD
KML: Currently we have four returning international students for next year. We have housing for three of the four and are looking for housing for a male, sophomore student from China. He is affiliated with one of our mission outreach groups in China. If you would be interested in hosting him or another international student, please contact Pastor Hughes at 262-677-4051 or e-mail him at a randy.hughes@kmlhs.org. This is a great way to better understand cultural diversity and an excellent opportunity to share Christ with international students while still staying in your own back yard.
