ACTS --Before being called to something, we are called to Someone. Before being called to DO, we are called to BE. Do you yearn to have an intimate relationship with your creator, or to apply what that looks like in your life right at present? The Lord desires to have the same with you! He does not want you to have a mere form of religion, a set of rules and do’s and don’ts, but a relationship whereby you experience His presence and power. Where you can see God perform His acts of power and love among others. In love, he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. –Ephesians 1:4b-8a. ACTS (Active Christian Teens) is here to give you a chance to actively pursue God. It is not an evening class for you to fill your time with, but an opportunity for you to take ownership and bolster your faith, making God the priority of your life. … ACTS 2012-2012 Season is still in the works, and we ask for you to keep its leaders in your prayers as they prepare and plan. Please pray for our Good God to strengthen the teens and the leaders as the season unfolds. Thank you! … Consider joining our Facebook group to keep up with all things ACTS. Simply search for our group – ACTS - Bethlehem Lutheran Church – and request to join.
